RESPONSIBILITIES Exhibits good communication skills, an energetic approach, and patience with customers. Establishes and maintains high levels of customer satisfaction according to defined objectives while adhering to established policies. Under supervision, performs the following tasks as assigned. Creates and manages tickets for all support incidents, reviewing trouble ticket queue, ensuring timely updates, accurate documentation, and compliance to resolve tickets within established guidelines. Performs relocation of workstations and associated equipment for individual users or teams between campus buildings, installing and configuring equipment so operations resume with minimal disruption. Provide basic diagnostics, identified, isolates and analyzes problems utilizing historical records. Resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone, in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems. Uses Active Directory or similar tools to create and unlock user/computer account, perform password resets, following all security policies and procedures. Assist with paperwork and tasks to meet security requirements, adhering to all security regulations for installing, maintaining, and retiring PCs as related to hardware/software, and collaborates with Security to resolve classified data spillage incidents. Maintains accurate inventory records in the asset tracking system for all hardware assets (PCs, monitors, phones, peripherals, etc.) and updates status whenever equipment is deployed, moved, repaired, or retired. Possess a technical understanding of service desk and IT Operations fundamentals Participates in new installations, testing and special projects as needed. Spend significant portions of the day away from the desk supporting users and moving equipment. Raises issues that require senior level attention or involvement. Perform basic Service Desk functions such as answer phone calls and emails to provide direct user assistance. Lifts and moves equipment up to 50 pounds. Note: Due to the classified nature of the work being performed, this position does not offer any virtual or telecommute working options. Basic Qualifications for Level 2: Associate's degree and 0 years of relevant experience is required; OR High School diploma (or equivalent) and 2 years of relevant experience. Basic Qualifications for Level 3: Bachelor's Degree with 0 years of relevant experience; OR Associate's degree and 2 years of relevant experience is required; OR High School diploma (or equivalent) and 4 years of relevant experience. Additional Basic Qualifications: Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Product Suites, and remote deployment methods Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret (at a minimum) security clearance within a reasonable amount of time. Candidates must meet the U.S.Government 8140 requirements for a PC Network Support Tech – IAT level 2 (Security +) within 6 months of hire date. Candidates must have the ability to obtain, and maintain, access to Special Access Programs as a condition of continued employment. SALARY RANGES CIDO Primary Level Salary Range: $44,400.00 - $74,000.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $52,700.00 - $87,900.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
