ANSER enhances national and homeland security by strengthening public institutions. We provide thought leadership for complex issues through independent analysis, and we deliver practical, useful solutions. ANSER values collaboration, integrity, and initiative and we are client focused in all that we do. Because we were established for the purpose of public service and not for profit, we measure our success in the impact of our service.

Position Summary

Analytic Services, Inc. (ANSER) is seeking a Mission Integration Analyst to support the Mission Integration Directorate within the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (ODASW(CBRND)). In this key role, you will coordinate with key stakeholders across the Chemical and Biological Defense Program (CBDP) leveraging their knowledge of mission engineering, operational experimentation, and the Department of War (DoW) requirements process to ensure the materiel capabilities developed by the CBDP are operationally relevant and delivered at time and place of need.

This position can support a hybrid work schedule with 3-4 days per week onsite at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA and 1-2 days per week remote.

Day to Day Responsibilities
  • Supports oversight of experimentation activities across the CBDP, and integrates findings and lessons learned into Research, Development, Testing and Evaluation (RDT&E) activities and processes.
  • Supports the planning and execution of warfighter engagements, operational assessments, workshops, and working groups by coordinating participants, developing briefing materials, capturing outcomes, and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Contributes to the development of a modeling and simulation ecosystem to support advanced quantitative analysis efforts through identification of analytical requirements, data sources, models, tools, and capabilities integration opportunities.
  • Builds and maintains CBDP strategic coalitions with Military Services, COCOMs, Joint Staff, OUSW(R&E), and other government stakeholders to facilitate coordination, information sharing, and alignment of CBDP objectives and activities.
  • Coordinates with the Mission Integration Director and CBDP stakeholders to identify, assess, and track operational needs, capability gaps, and requirements across the CBDP to accelerate the requirements generation process.
  • Applies and supports the institutionalization of mission engineering methodologies and best practices, including development of mission threads, evaluation metrics, architectures, and other mission-level analytical products.
  • Develops briefings, reports, white papers, decision materials, analytical products, and other communications that synthesize complex information and clearly communicate findings and recommendations to enterprise stakeholders.
  • Identifies risks, gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement across mission integration activities and supports the development of practical tools, processes, and recommendations to improve CBDP requirements, experimentation, and mission integration efforts.
Required Qualifications
  • Possess an active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field of study. A Master's degree may be substituted for 3 years of experience.
  • 10+ years of experience within the areas of Military Services, Combatant Commands, requirements development/analysis, warfighter engagements, operational concepts, or similar.
  • Experience analyzing and integrating complex data and information in support of the development of operational concepts and warfighter engagements.
  • Experience communicating and coordinating with Military Services and COCOMs on requirements and warfighter engagements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within the DoW Chemical and Biological Defense Program is highly desired.
  • Experience with mission engineering efforts.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
