Responsibilities:
  • Lead the execution of global metal stamping engineering strategy across North America, ensuring alignment from vision to shop-floor reality.
  • Develop and coach multi-site engineering teams, building strong technical leadership and bench strength across plants.
  • Standardize stamping processes, tooling practices, and engineering methods to drive consistency and scalability.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase OEE, reduce variation, and elevate overall plant performance.
  • Identify and implement automation, digitalization, and advanced manufacturing technologies to modernize operations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain to resolve systemic issues and support successful product launches.
  • Own capital planning input and ROI validation, driving cost optimization and high-impact investment decisions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in metal stamping or high-volume manufacturing environments.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience with responsibility across multiple sites or regions.
  • Deep expertise in stamping processes, tooling, and die design (progressive/compound strongly preferred).
  • Proven track record driving lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Ability to lead in a global, matrixed organization and influence stakeholders across functions and regions.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in capital planning, cost management, and data-driven decision making.
