Role Description

The Managing Director โ€“ Medical Billing is a full-time, on-site role based in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the medical billing operations. This role manages billing teams and workflows, ensuring accurate claim submission, timely reimbursement, and adherence to payer guidelines and regulatory requirements. The Managing Director develops and implements billing policies, performance metrics, and process improvements to optimize revenue cycle outcomes for biologics and advanced wound care services. Daily responsibilities include monitoring key financial and operational indicators, resolving complex billing issues, coordinating with clinical and administrative leadership, and supporting provider practices with billing best practices. The role also involves vendor and payer relationship management, staff training and mentorship, and regular reporting to executive leadership on revenue performance and compliance.


Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management, preferably within specialty healthcare or biologics and wound care.

  • Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding, payer rules, and healthcare reimbursement methodologies.

  • Experience with medical billing software, EMR/EHR systems, and data reporting tools, with the ability to analyze and act on financial and operational metrics.

  • Demonstrated skills in process improvement, workflow design, and policy development to enhance billing accuracy and efficiency.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical, administrative, and executive partners.

  • High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to regulatory compliance and ethical billing practices.

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification in revenue cycle or coding is an advantage.

  • Prior experience leading multi-site or multi-specialty billing operations is highly beneficial.
