POSITION DESCRIPTION Our ideal candidate will oversee the management and operations of a company owned Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea, attaining sales & bottom line financial goals while fostering a fun team environment.  Be ready to handle steady guest volume and dynamic staff.  
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Actively build sales, profitability, and guest counts.
  • Executes on delivering excellent product execution, guest service, and team management. 
  • Maintains and implements quality standards in all products, operations, and guest service.
  • Manages and develops a "dream team" by hiring, training, and coaching at least 15 team members ages 17 and older.
  • Actively participates in marketing for the café.
  • Manages P/L's, payroll, scheduling, inventory, and ordering.
  • Fosters teamwork, continually initiates team building opportunities, and provides a positive, goal-oriented work environment.
  • Maintains the aesthetics of the café to brand standards and ensures the team delivers a premium experience to guests.
  • Adheres to all health department, OSHA, and ADA regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 
  • Proven management experience. 
  • Hospitality experience.
  • A strong work ethic with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Impeccable service standards and attention to detail.
  • Ability to set expectations, measure effectiveness, enforce quality standards, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lead and coach others with a passion for training and leading by example.
  • A strong understanding of P&L statements. 
  • Actively promotes a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ability to work in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends. 
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Servsafe certified.
  • A sense of humor with an easy going yet driven personality. Loves to laugh and create a positive team environment.
