About KRC Machine Tool Solutions
KRC Machine Tool Solutions is a leading provider of machine tool repair, rebuild, retrofit, and OEM solutions across North America. Our growth is constrained not by demand-but by talent. This role exists to change that.
We are hiring a high-urgency, highly networked Talent Acquisition Manager to build and sustain a recruiting engine capable of delivering elite machine tool service talent in one of the most competitive labor markets in manufacturing.
This is not a passive recruiting role. This is a hunter role.
Role Overview
The Talent Acquisition Manager owns the organizational end-to-end talent performance across all KRC requisitions. You will directly source, engage, and close candidates while building long-term pipelines through apprenticeships, schools, industry networks, and creative sourcing strategies.
Success is measured by speed, quality, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Sourcing & Hiring Execution
  • Personally source and recruit skilled candidates daily
  • Deliver hires within required timelines:
    • Entry / Mid-level roles: 30 days
    • Senior roles: 60 days

  • Lead intake meetings with hiring managers
  • Drive communication, transparency, and momentum throughout the hiring process

Apprenticeship & Pipeline Development
  • Own and expand the KRC Apprenticeship Program
  • Build relationships with trade schools, technical programs, and OEM partners
  • Develop long-term talent supply aligned to Field Service, Projects Division needs

Innovative & Network-Driven Recruiting
  • Leverage non-traditional sourcing methods: competitor targeting, referrals, veterans, industry events
  • Experiment, measure, and iterate sourcing strategies continuously
  • Actively promote KRC's employer brand in the skilled trades market

Hiring Manager Partnership

  • Reduced time-to-fill
  • Strong hiring manager confidence
  • Sustainable pipeline development

Requirements

  • 5+ years recruiting skilled trades or niche technical talent
  • Proven outbound sourcing success in tight labor markets
  • Strong networking instincts and industry presence
  • Comfortable owning results with minimal structure
  • Bias for action, urgency, and accountability
  • Experience with apprenticeship or early-career pipelines strongly preferred
