Your Role
As a Fixed-Term Director within Capgemini Invent's Intelligent Industry - Supply Chain Advisory practice, you will lead large-scale logistics transformation engagements and shape the future of clients' end-to-end supply chains, for the duration of the engagement. You will operate as a trusted advisor to senior executives, driving strategic conversations on how logistics networks can unlock resilience, cost efficiency, and competitive advantage.
 
You will combine deep logistics domain expertise with AI/GenAI-enabled decision intelligence to design and deliver next-generation supply chain solutions. In addition to leading client delivery, you will be responsible for growing the practice through business development, developing go-to-market offerings, and building long-term client relationships across key accounts.
 
Your Role
  • Lead and grow client relationships at the executive level, shaping logistics transformation agendas and positioning AI/ GenAI-enabled solutions that drive measurable business outcomes
  • Originate, structure, and close complex consulting engagements, contributing directly to revenue growth through differentiated logistics and supply chain advisory offerings
  • Drive automotive-specific logistics strategy, advising C-suite clients on topics such as inbound-to-manufacturing sequencing, and aftermarket parts distribution networks. 
  • Sponsor and oversee end-to-end delivery of large-scale logistics transformation programs, ensuring impact across network optimization, distribution, and transportation performance
  • Define and scale AI/GenAI-driven logistics solutions, including intelligent network design, real-time visibility, and decision intelligence capabilities
  • Build and evolve market-facing offerings, thought leadership, and assets across logistics, leveraging emerging technologies to differentiate Capgemini Invent's Intelligent Industry capability
  • Partner across capabilities (Data & AI, Digital Engineering, Enterprise Transformation) to deliver integrated, cross-functional supply chain solutions at scale
  • Mentor and develop high-performing teams, fostering consulting excellence, innovation, and a strong pipeline of future leaders
  • Play a visible role in the market through client workshops, industry events, and executive forums, reinforcing Capgemini Invent's leadership in AI-enabled supply chain transformation
Qualifications & Experience
Must Have
  • 10 - 15+ years of experience in consulting and/or industry, with deep expertise in logistics, transportation, and supply chain transformation
  • Proven track record of originating and closing consulting work with large consulting organizations, with direct accountability for revenue growth and client relationship expansion
  • Domain expertise in the Automotive sector, with a track record of delivering logistics, inbound plant logistics, or finished vehicle distribution strategies for OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers. 
  • Experience leading AI / GenAI-enabled supply chain or logistics transformations (e.g., intelligent control towers, advanced network modeling, decision intelligence solutions)
  • Strong executive presence with experience advising C-level stakeholders and leading large-scale transformation programs
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business challenges into strategic roadmaps supported by data, analytics, and AI-driven insights
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a history of building and scaling teams
Nice to Have
  • Industry experience within the Automotive ecosystem, including an understanding of automotive supply chain dynamics, JIT/JIS manufacturing constraints, and smart factory logistics. 
  • Experience developing go-to-market offerings, thought leadership, or practice capabilities within a consulting environment
  • Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) in supply chain, operations, or related discipline
  • Strong network within logistics and supply chain leadership communities

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $169k to $250k per year

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
