POSITION OVERVIEW – Samples Logistics Coordinator
The main function of a Logistics Coordinator will manage the tracking, distribution, and shipment of internal and external samples, including inventory upkeep, transportation to customer sites and quality checks on materials and documentation. This entry-level role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Inventory Management for samples (internal and external).
  • Tracking and distribution of samples.
  • Responsible for scrapping/recycling old inventory.
  • Responsible for shipping samples to internal and external teams.
  • Transportation and distribution of samples to customer sites.
  • Should be able to drive and pick up boxes.
  • Examine documents, materials and products, in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications.
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 0-2 years related experience required.
