Key Responsibilities

  • Champion a culture of accountability and continuous improvement 
  • Lead change initiatives that align daily work with broader operational outcomes
  • Ensure safe, cost-effective 24/7 warehouse operations and direct logistics planning
  • Maximize fleet utilization and on-time performance
  • Own the full P&L for logistics cost centers, including managing budgets, forecasts, and variance reports
  • Lead negotiations for freight and service contracts to build resilient vendor partnerships
  • Partner closely with production, maintenance, sales, and procurement teams to ensure seamless material handling and availability
  • Reinforce safety as a priority while ensuring operations are compliant with regulations and standards
  • Visibly lead and mentor warehouse crews and transportation coordinators on the floor
  • Act as a key stakeholder for the off-site sales team to support remote sales activities
  • Provide strategic oversight of three distributed warehouse facilities


Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership in logistics, warehouse operations, transportation, or distribution.
  • Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
  • Background in cost center management and Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory
  • Demonstrated success in high-level vendor/contract negotiations and measurable improvements.
  • Skilled with logistics and warehouse systems like Princeton TMX, NetSuite, and/or Hexagon is an asset
  • SCMP and/or CCLP designations are preferred
  • You are a decisive, outcome-focused leader who can explain the "why" behind decisions and hold teams accountable with consistency


Work Environment

  • This is a full-time, on-site leadership role
  • The operation runs 24/7; some evening, night, or weekend presence may be required to support crews and operational needs.
