Job Summary
The Training Travel Partner will serve as a creative and tactical member of the Training team. The Training Travel Partner will be responsible for partnering with subject matter experts (SMEs) across the TLE team to support the development of training materials and relevant learning content for multiple operational lines of business. Once developed, the Training Travel Partner will be responsible for traveling to help support and/or deliver training materials and content for any and/or all stations/locations dependent upon business need.
The Training Travel Partner may also be responsible for serving as an OJT Trainer at specific stations/locations based on business needs and/or to ensure specific requirements are met.
The expected pay rate is $70,000- $80,000/annually. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.
Your activities
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Transform business priorities into learning solutions by delivering relevant content to meet training objectives.
  • Design and develop detailed training in various formats such as instructor and virtual instructor led training, e-learning, self-directed training, on-the-job training, and relevant training materials.
  • Deliver and facilitate initial and recurrent training in accordance with global and local standards.
  • Apply rapid learning development techniques.
  • Maintain regular and effective communication and strong working relationships with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure training relevance.
  • Partner with Learning Technology & Compliance Manager to publish learning materials.
  • Forecast & plan for new hire and recurrent training needs, which requires maintaining on-going communication and coordination with Regional Training Manager, local HR and Operations team(s).
  • Administer required examinations and/or reports for training programs in accordance with global and local standards to maintain compliance.
  • Training generalist for all lines of business and specialist for designated functional training.
  • Responsible for the New Hire tracking process to ensure a smooth transition to the operations.
  • Manage on the job coaching program for designated area / functions and serves as tier one support for local certified coaches.
  • Responsible for maintaining timely and accurate training records (digital and paper) for all employees within designated area & functions.
  • May be responsible for TLE projects and project management based on business and stations/locations need.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Demonstrated experience creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content through development tools such as Articulate, Adobe Suite, Captivate, Microsoft Publisher, and/or Walk-me
  • Strong communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Experience using Microsoft Suite of Applications
  • Experience using web conferencing tools.
  • Manage time and priorities to meet deliverables.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to pass security clearance and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Strong communications skills and ability to influence without authority to achieve a common goal.
  • Strong situational awareness with the ability to solve for complex challenges.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts to accommodate training demands during off peak hours.
  • Ideal candidate will also have demonstrated knowledge of adult learning processes, instructional design techniques, and evaluation methodologies.

  • Ability to create and delivery dynamic presentations, slide decks and training materials.
  • Subject matter expertise within a minimum of disciplines within Aviation Services
  • Maintain Aviation/logistics industry and SPI regulatory training certifications required to serve as a trainer for designated functions.

Your profile
Qualifications and Competencies
  • 3-5 years' work experience
  • Customer service experience
  • Exposure to the aviation services required and expertise in line of business strongly preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of industry experience - Ground Handling, Cargo, and / or Fueling operations.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience serving as classroom instructor or 2 years serving as On-the-Job (OJT) Training or Coaching experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent additional experience demonstrating ability to resolve complex problems, foster and maintain positive working relationships with multiple stakeholders and effectively balance multiple competing priorities.
