Job Summary:

The Director, Corporate Development will play a critical role in supporting the Vice President of Corporate Development, overseeing strategy and corporate development initiatives and the corporate Strategic Planning Process. Responsibilities span strategic planning, strategic growth efforts, market strategy, and mergers and acquisitions. This role operates in a project-based environment, engaging with a variety of stakeholders based on organizational priorities.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics to generate insights that inform Epiq's long-term strategic direction.

  • Maintain and evolve the company's quantitative fact base, including market sizing and forecasting, to support enterprise-wide planning.

  • Lead and facilitate long-range and annual planning processes in partnership with Business and Functional leaders.

  • Drive strategic initiatives by leveraging customer and market research to shape internal and external growth decisions.

  • Conduct sophisticated financial modeling, valuation analyses, and benchmarking to support executive-level decision-making.

  • Support M&A and internal strategic initiatives through due diligence activities and development of business cases for build, partner, or buy opportunities.

Qualifications & Characteristics

  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to independently surface, structure, and drive initiatives while seeking guidance appropriately.

  • 5+ years of experience in consulting and corporate strategy. Ideally, experience in both top-tier strategy consulting (2-3 years) and corporate roles (2-3 years).

  • Successful experience in Corporate Strategy Planning, running or supporting strategic and financial planning processes.

  • Experience with SaaS/Technology and Services industries, with genuine curiosity about technology innovation and emerging trends.

The Compensation range for this role is $185K USD - $200K annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus.

Preferred Location: USA- New York Remote Office
