Position Summary
The Director of Sales, KHI (Kraft Heinz Ingredients) leads the development and execution of the sales strategy and is responsible for managing a robust team calling upon Ingredients manufacturers in North America. The Director of Sales shows a high level of ownership for their business, is adept at selling solutions, and has a proven ability to win new business. The Director of Sales can communicate and influence senior executives, and internal and external stakeholders. This role reports to the Head of KHI.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
  • Drive Strategic commercial agenda for Sales team, including centralizing distribution, assessing addressable market, driving pipeline, and growing sales.
  • Ensure robust go-to-market strategy and capabilities to drive profitability growth, customer penetration, and attainment of new customers.
  • Provide support in maintaining relationships with key customers, including direct involvement with key account of senior leaders.
  • Support the annual business planning process including setting territory targets and annual KPIs to ensure the achievement of business goals; including progress evaluation on a monthly, quarterly, and/or annual basis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align goals to achieve strategic agenda, including monthly report outs; and knowledge share best practices critical to business success.
  • Align, promote, and integrate the company vision, mission, and values within the organization. Responsible for driving company culture inside and outside KHI.
  • Coach and develop employees to meet current and future needs of the company.
  • Own execution of sales pipeline and report out at monthly and quarterly meetings.
  • Lead a team of 8-10 experienced and junior sales professionals.
  • Challenge both internal and external teams to drive creative ideas that capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop selling stories based on insights and analytic data.
  • Support of S&OP through Forecast process and waste mitigation.

Expected Experience & Required Skills
  • Relevant seasoned years of sales or commercial experience.
  • Prior leadership/direct managerial experience demonstrating the ability to lead and develop a team of sales professionals.
  • Strong understanding of the Sales function, process and execution, P&L management, and owning a sales budget.
  • Ability to drive execution and enablement of salesforce.
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to deliver executive-level presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must have strong balance between analytical skills and executional skills.
  • Experience managing agency relationships and collaborating with multiple groups within large complex matrixed organizations.
  • Strong financial competence to impact P&L management; Effective business planning and data-driven strategy for maintaining current and securing new customers.
  • Experience and expertise in Food Ingredients or similar Industrial products preferred, R&D experience is a benefit.

Work Environment & Schedule
This is a Remote role with travel or visits to external locations. Additionally, this role requires working a salaried, exempt schedule to best execute against customer and internal expectations

Operate a computer and view screens for ~100% of work schedule

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$190,300.00 - $237,900.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): In addition to base salary and bonus, this role is eligible for additional compensation in the form of equity.
