Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptionally skilled Senior Java Full Stack Developer with 12+ years of enterprise software engineering experience to serve as a high-impact Individual Contributor (IC). In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of designing, building, and deploying scalable microservices, resilient REST APIs, and modern frontend interfaces on Microsoft Azure.

As a principal-level IC, you will operate with high autonomy, solving complex architectural and performance challenges while translating intricate business requirements into clean, production-grade code. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you will directly collaborate with product managers, system architects, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hands-on Full Stack Engineering: Design, build, and maintain high-performance, fault-tolerant microservices and responsive frontend components from end to end.
  • Backend & API Architecture: Develop clean, secure RESTful APIs using Java (Java 11/17+) and Spring Boot,
  • Familiarity with Kafka or Azure Event Hubs for event-driven processing.
  • Cloud Native Deployment: Leverage Azure components (e.g., Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Service Bus, Azure Key Vault) to deploy, run, and scale applications.
  • Database Design & Optimization: Write, tune, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, schema migrations, and indexing strategies (using Oracle,PostgreSQL).
  • Technical Ownership: Work as a self-driven Individual Contributor taking direct accountability for feature delivery, system performance, code quality, and production stability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, collaborate closely with Product Owners, and actively participate in architecture reviews and sprint planning.
  • DevOps & Quality Assurance: Implement robust unit/integration tests (JUnit, Mockito) and contribute to automated CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions).

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 12+ years of hands-on software development experience building enterprise-grade applications.
  • Core Java & Frameworks: Deep expertise in Java (Java 8/11/17+), Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring Cloud).
  • Microservices & REST APIs: Extensive experience designing, developing, and decoupling monolithic applications into distributed, event-driven Microservices using REST APIs.
  • Cloud Infrastructure (Azure): Proven hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure services (Azure App Services, Blob Storage, Azure SQL / Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Azure DevOps).
  • Database & SQL: Strong proficiency in relational databases, advanced SQL query optimization, transaction management, and ORM frameworks (Hibernate / JPA).
  • Frontend Basics / Full Stack: Proficiency with modern frontend technologies (TypeScript, React.js, Angular, or Vue.js) to build or integrate full-stack UI workflows.
  • Autonomy & Impact: Demonstrated track record as a top-tier Individual Contributor who thrives without micro-management.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional oral and written communication skills with the ability to lead technical discussions, document system designs, and influence technical direction.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes / AKS).
  •
  • Experience implementing OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and API Gateway security protocols.
  • Knowledge of TDD (Test-Driven Development) and automated testing frameworks.
