Director, Information Technology

About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established national organization, is seeking a Director, Information Technology to lead the design, delivery, and evolution of its internal technology ecosystem.
This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role where you'll own the full IT landscape-spanning cloud platforms, enterprise systems, and infrastructure-within a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Design and deliver scalable, cloud-first technology solutions
  • Serve as a technical lead across systems, infrastructure, and integrations
  • Own and optimize a multi-system environment (CRM, CMS, cloud platforms, internal tools)
  • Lead efforts around systems integration and modernization
  • Evaluate and guide decisions around custom-built vs. off-the-shelf solutions
  • Provide Tier 3 escalation support for complex technical issues
  • Partner cross-functionally with business leaders to translate needs into technical solutions
  • Collaborate with external vendors and offshore resources to execute projects
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and operational efficiency

What They're Looking For
  • Strong experience with the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Microsoft 365)
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
  • Background working in hybrid cloud + on-prem environments

Solid foundation in:
  • Identity & access management (Entra ID / Active Directory)
  • Networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, firewalls)
  • Proven experience in systems architecture and integration
  • Ability to operate as a hands-on technical leader (player-coach)
  • Experience supporting mid-sized environments (~100-500 users)
