  • Build multi‐year roadmaps for infrastructure, applications, security, and AV to support organizational growth.
  • Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to drive operational efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Establish and enforce technology standards, policies, and procedures across systems, applications, and devices.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Direct, mentor, and lead an internal IT team and managed service providers (MSPs).
  • Cultivate a service‐oriented culture focused on accountability, responsiveness, and practical problem‐solving.
  • Advise executive leadership on technology risks, opportunities, investments, and operational decision‐making.
  • Partner across departments to deliver integrated, secure, and user‐friendly technical solutions.

IT Operations, Applications, Systems & AV

  • Oversee day‐to‐day IT operations, including networks, servers, cloud services, endpoints, and service desk.
  • Own key business applications and systems (e.g., line‐of‐business platforms, collaboration tools), including reliability, upgrades, and vendor coordination.
  • Manage AV and collaboration environments (conference rooms, video conferencing, meeting technology) to support onsite and hybrid work.
  • Ensure effective monitoring, patching, backups, and change management to minimize downtime.

Information Security & Risk Management

  • Lead the cybersecurity program, including policies, controls, monitoring tools, security awareness, and incident response.
  • Identify and mitigate risks across all systems, applications, data, and third‐party vendor relationships.
  • Manage business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure operational resilience.
  • Support compliance with relevant regulatory and security frameworks.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record managing enterprise‐scale infrastructure, applications, and cybersecurity programs in a mid‐size organization.
  • Strong business acumen, including budget ownership and strategic vendor negotiation.

Technical Skills & Certifications

  • Deep knowledge of cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure), network architecture, identity and access management, and disaster recovery.
  • Experience with enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, and AV/collaboration technologies (video conferencing, conference room systems).
  • Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, and/or PMP.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical and security concepts for executive and non‐technical audiences.
  • Strong decision‐making and prioritization skills, with the ability to lead effectively under pressure during critical incidents.
  • Hands‐on, collaborative leader who can balance strategic planning with tactical execution in a lean department.
