Job description

We are seeking a Sales Hunter to drive net new business in the Insurance vertical. This role is focused on acquiring new clients and expanding Brillio's footprint in the Life, P&C, Specialty Insurance domains. The ideal candidate will combine strong sales acumen with deep insurance domain knowledge to position Brillio's digital transformation services effectively.
Key Responsibilities
  • Hunting & Acquisition: Drive net new client acquisition (80%) and growth in dormant/existing accounts (20%). Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for Insurance vertical.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Insurance domain offerings.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline through lead generation, prospecting, and networking.
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle: prospecting, presentations, RFI/RFP responses, negotiations, and deal closure.
  • Client Engagement:
  • Establish and nurture relationships with CxO-level executives at target insurance firms.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, leveraging domain expertise to position Brillio's solutions.
  • Collaboration & Enablement:
  • Work closely with presales, delivery, and practice teams to craft compelling proposals.
  • Partner with BFSI leadership to create IP, solutions, and thought leadership in Insurance.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Sales Expertise: 12-15+ years of experience in IT services sales, with a proven track record in hunting new business. Demonstrated success in selling Digital Transformation, Cloud, Data Analytics, and Product Engineering services.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Insurance industry (Life, P&C, Specialty), Insurtech trends, regulatory landscape, and emerging models like embedded insurance and usage-based insurance.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Guidewire and Duck Creek is a plus.
  • Hunting mindset and evidence of client acquisition is a major qualifier.
  • Experience working in IT services and consulting is a must.

  • Other Requirements:
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles (6-12 months) and multi-stakeholder negotiations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology. MBA is preferred.
