About the Role

100% remote career opportunity for an experienced insurance broker. As Commercial Insurance Account Executive, you are the lead consultant for complex mid-market and national accounts with a Top 10 national broker. This position requires large account expertise including with construction and real estate insureds, many with some involvement in captives and alternative risk programs.

Technical Expertise:

  • Experience with very large, complex loss sensitive and layered property accounts that exceed $100k in revenue.
  • Consultative and advisory background with complex risks particularly in construction and real estate.
  • Ability to manage the complex life cycle of the service process, from onboarding new clients to ensuring deliverables are met, and creating the renewal and remarketing strategies.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Quarterback all service functions. Your goal is to reduce the producer’s involvement in daily service issues so they can focus on new business sales activity.
  • Follow up regularly with producers as needed to discuss status of new business, upcoming renewals, and renewals in process.
  • Oversee the analysis of current accounts such as client profitability, coverage/risk analysis, and risk management recommendations.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5-10 years in a senior commercial P&C advisory role. Retail agency/broker experience is required along with any combination of marketing, account management, sales, or underwriting.
  • Active state insurance license.
  • Ability to travel at least 1x/month with more as needed for client and team meetings.
