  • Supervise the Institutional Giving Manager, providing mentorship and day-to-day guidance
  • Work collaboratively with the broader Advancement team, which is focused on major individual gifts, to ensure coordinated funder strategies and a unified case for support
  • Partner with the Chief Advancement Officer on strategy development for both short- and long-term institutional giving goals
Experience, Qualifications, and Competencies
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in institutional giving, foundation relations, or development in a nonprofit environment
  • Demonstrated track record of securing five- and six-figure grants from private, family, and/or federated foundations

  • Strong project management skills with a track record of managing multiple deadlines and priorities with precision
  • Experience supervising or mentoring junior development staff
  • Proficiency with CRM/grants management platforms (eg: Salesforce) and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of the Jewish philanthropic community, federation landscape, or Jewish education field a significant plus
  • A collaborative, collegial working style and genuine passion for the agency’s mission
