Job description

PCI Government Services is seeking candidates for a Digital Health and Artificial Intelligence Specialist. This is for a proposal, is hybrid, and reports to the Program Manager.
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the technical content integrity of all AI, wearable technology, EHR integration, interoperability, and digital health infrastructure TA delivered under this contract.
  • Bridge clinical and technical domains
  • Translate complex AI and digital health concepts into accessible, actionable guidance for health center audiences.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in health informatics, biomedical informatics, computer science, digital health, or a closely related field. Relevant industry certifications, such as HIMSS Certified Associate in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CAHIMS) or Certified Healthcare Technology Specialist (CHTS), may be considered in lieu of an advanced degree when combined with substantial relevant experience.
  • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in digital health, health informatics, or AI implementation in healthcare settings.
  • Demonstrated experience with EHR systems commonly used in health center settings, HL7/FHIR standards, and wearable device or PGHD integration.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of responsible AI principles, algorithmic bias mitigation, and AI governance frameworks in healthcare, consistent with the HHS AI Strategy.
  • Experience providing digital health or health IT technical assistance to safety net providers, federally qualified health centers, or underserved communities preferred.
  • Direct experience with Self-Measured Blood Pressure (SMBP), Continuous Glucose Monitor use for Type 2 Diabetes, and the incorporation of patient-generated health data from wearable devices into care.
