What You'll Do

Manage multiple projects and technical tasks, including directing/overseeing parallel tracks of work performed by others. Develop budgets and approaches for complex projects. Regularly serve as a resource to analysts and non-analysts around the firm on how to tackle complex analysis challenges. Develop scripts/software tools to solve novel/highly complex analysis and data management challenges. Coach and mentor junior staff on skills and projects.

Requirements

Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Planning, Geography, Cartography, Data Science or related plus 2 years of experience in a Data Analysis or related occupation. Alternatively, the company will accept a Ph.D in Civil Engineering, Planning, Geography, Cartography, Data Science or related with 0 years of experience. Demonstrated knowledge through education or experience in: 

  • ARCGIS Scripting using Python
  • Mapping
  • Teaching/mentoring
