Director โ€“ Cardiovascular Services

Location: Rock Hill, South Carolina (Onsite) Full Time

Work Environment

Onsite hospital-based leadership role Collaborative environment with medical staff and executive leadership Direct oversight of cardiovascular services, nursing, and respiratory care Strategic and operational leadership exposure

Ideal Candidate

A strong clinical leader with cardiovascular services experience (preferably Cath Lab exposure), capable of managing departmental operations, driving quality of care, and aligning programs with hospital strategy. The ideal candidate is collaborative, operationally strong, and experienced in leading teams within an acute care setting.

The Director โ€“ Cardiovascular Services is responsible for the direction, coordination, and overall management of assigned departments to ensure high-quality patient care, operational efficiency, and alignment with the hospital's strategic goals. This role oversees nursing and respiratory care services while supporting program development and community-focused healthcare initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Operations & Leadership

Direct and coordinate daily operations of cardiovascular services and assigned departments Ensure alignment with the hospital's Plan for the Provision of Patient Care Oversee department performance, staffing, and operational efficiency

Clinical Quality & Standards

Implement standards for nursing and respiratory care Evaluate quality, safety, and effectiveness of patient care delivery Drive continuous improvement in clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction

Program Development

Lead development of new programs and services based on community needs Support growth and expansion of cardiovascular services Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards

Collaboration & Strategy

Work closely with physicians, medical staff, and hospital leadership Contribute to execution of the hospital's strategic plan Foster cross-functional collaboration across departments

Must-Have Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (required) 3โ€“5 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiovascular services or specialty area Strong leadership and management experience Active RN License (or ability to obtain Multi-State RN License within 30 days) BLS CPR certification (required within 7 days of hire) Strong communication, operational, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree (or willingness to pursue) Experience in Cath Lab / Cardiovascular Services (highly preferred) Respiratory Therapy experience (preferred) Multi-State RN License (preferred)
