Job description

The Director, Implementation Excellence is responsible for designing, standardizing, and continuously improving the enterprise implementation operating model. This role establishes the governance, processes, tools, and performance framework that enables scalable, consistent implementation execution while supporting business growth and global delivery.

Working cross-functionally across Operations, Product, Technology, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, HR, and Workforce Management, this leader ensures implementation processes are AI-enabled, efficient, standardized, and optimized to support the business strategies.

What you’ll do

Operating Model & Strategy

  • Own the end-to-end implementation operating model.
  • Design scalable implementation processes, standards, and governance.
  • Develop implementation playbooks, stage gates, and operating cadence.
  • Drive operating model maturity and continuous improvement.

Operational Excellence

  • Standardize implementation methodologies and best practices.
  • Improve implementation speed, quality, and consistency.
  • Establish KPIs, dashboards, and performance management controls.
  • Identify automation and AI opportunities to improve execution.

Transformation & Change

  • Lead implementation transformation initiatives.
  • Design scalable operating models supporting global delivery.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and organizational readiness.
  • Ensure successful adoption of new processes and operating standards.

What experience you need (7 or less requirements recommended)

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of experience in Implementation/Onboarding Strategy or Execution
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, AI orchestration, and process improvement
  • Strong analytical, communication, and executive influencing skills

What could set you apart

  • Lean Six Sigma, PMP, Agile, or Change Management certification
  • Experience designing operating models, governance frameworks, or AI-enabled business processes
  • Self-starter, initiator, strong organizational, presentation, interpersonal and consultative skills is a must.
