Position Overview
As the Director of HR Transformation & Special Projects, reporting directly to the SVP of HR Transformation & Global Projects, you will be the driving force behind strategic change initiatives, operational excellence, and organizational development across HYBE America. You will act as a pivotal leader in scaling our operations, championing the integration of emerging technologies, including AI and process automation and spearheading large-scale project management system implementations. This role demands a highly analytical, operations-minded professional who can turn high-level strategic visions into streamlined, automated, and effective everyday workflows. This role sits within the Global HR team and many of the projects will be focused internally around our employee experience.
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Santa Monica office, with in-person collaboration 3 days per week and remote work 2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Project Management: Lead the end-to-end evaluation, planning, and execution of complex cross-functional projects, including the implementation and streamlining of enterprise-level systems (such as HRIS, Project Management tools, the revamp of the Performance Management Progress, etc).
- AI & Process Automation: Actively identify inefficiencies in current operational workflows and design robust, scalable solutions leveraging artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced technology platforms to drive speed and precision across the Global HR team.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee operational logistics and create standardized methodologies and policies to ensure consistency, accountability, and efficiency across internal departments and external partnerships.
- Change Management: Drive organizational change by partnering closely with business leaders and HR to ensure successful adoption of new systems, structures, and processes.
- Strategic Innovation & Vision: Collaborate with business unit leaders to ideate and define strategic initiatives, challenging the status quo to drive long-term growth and organizational adaptability.
- Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration: Partner with global leaders and external vendors to synthesize strategic recommendations, translate technological and industry trends into actionable insights, and ensure seamless system integrations.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Develop and oversee reporting frameworks and tracking systems that evaluate the ROI and efficiency gains of new transformation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in project management, business operations, strategy, strategic HR or enterprise transformation.
- Deep expertise in process automation, operational scaling, and process improvement.
- Extensive experience evaluating, rolling out, and managing enterprise software (e.g., advanced Project Management Systems, ERP, or HRIS platforms).
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Proven track record of managing robust project pipelines and successfully navigating complex change management scenarios.
- Demonstrated success in collaborating with high-performing, cross-functional teams and fostering a culture of rigorous analysis and creative problem-solving.
- Ability to communicate strategic operational visions effectively to executive stakeholders and external partners.
- Prior experience within the music, entertainment, or media industries is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with the unique operational and creative workflows of these sectors.

Salary Range
The salary range for this job is $130,000 to $190,000. This is a good faith effort at the time of posting. This range is base salary only and does not include benefits and any other compensatory components of the role.
