Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-on HR Generalist for a full-time, direct hire opportunity in Alsip, IL. This role is ideal for a well-rounded Human Resources professional who enjoys supporting employees, partnering with managers, and staying involved across the full employee lifecycle.
The HR Generalist will play an important role in recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, HR compliance, employee relations, payroll support, HRIS maintenance, and general HR administration. This is a strong opportunity for someone who values variety, ownership, and the ability to make a meaningful impact across the organization.
This position offers a professional, team-oriented work environment with supportive leadership, positive collaboration, and the opportunity to be a trusted HR resource for employees and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support employees and managers with day-to-day HR questions, policy guidance, and general workplace needs.
- Coordinate recruiting activities, interviews, offers, onboarding, new-hire orientation, and employee documentation.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS information, HR reports, and required HR documentation.
- Assist with benefits administration, employee changes, payroll-related processes, and timekeeping support.
