Job Overview

The Marketing Director leads the marketing department and is responsible for developing and executing the overall marketing strategy to drive business growth, brand awareness, and advisor engagement. This role sets the vision, direction, and execution standards across all marketing functions, overseeing campaigns, events, digital, and internal marketing initiatives, while managing and mentoring a team of five marketing professionals with anticipated team growth. The ideal candidate is a visionary, strategic, and hands‑on leader who proactively develops original ideas, programs, and initiatives to continuously advance and evolve the company’s marketing efforts in alignment with company goals and advisor needs.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company objectives and long-term growth goals.
  • Oversee and take full ownership of the marketing department and its team, including performance management, organizational structure, processes, strategic direction, and providing mentorship, coaching, and performance oversight.
  • Establish marketing priorities, timelines, staffing needs, and budgets; ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Develop and introduce innovative and forward‑thinking marketing ideas and initiatives designed to strengthen brand presence, advisor engagement, and business growth.
  • Continuously evaluate marketing trends, tools, and industry best practices to drive strategic evolution.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to support company positioning, expansion opportunities, and organizational initiatives.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with all members of the executive leadership team to develop, align, and execute company‑wide strategic initiatives.
Campaigns & Communications
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and performance of marketing campaigns across digital, print, email, and social platforms.
  • Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and tone across all marketing materials and channels.
  • Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies based on data, results, and business objectives.
Events & Advisor Support
  • Lead the planning and execution of company events, including internal events, advisor events, conferences, and client‑facing initiatives.

Digital & Website Oversight
