Job description

Emergency Medicine Medical Director Opportunity

Become a part of a respected Emergency Medicine team located just north of Minneapolis as the Medical Director for the Emergency Department (ED). This position offers a unique combination of clinical leadership and direct patient care within a friendly, rural setting. You will guide a skilled group of Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), promote a patient-focused environment, and ensure the delivery of compassionate and efficient care to individuals of all ages.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The perfect candidate will possess at least three years of experience in an emergency medicine environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the Emergency Department, providing evaluation and treatment for medical and trauma cases while mentoring a team of seasoned physician assistants.
  • Work at a Level IV trauma center.
  • Choose between 10 or 12-hour shifts.
  • No on-call duties required.
  • Manage a daily patient census of approximately 25 in the ED.
  • Day shifts with a workweek of 4 or 5 days.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary: Starting at $345K+, commensurate with experience.
  • Sign-On Bonus: $75K+.
  • PTO: 26 days annually.
