About the Role (Job Summary)

We are seeking a SOX Compliance professional to support the McKesson Technology (MT) Enterprise SOX Technology Services team. In this role, you will work closely with compliance leadership to support strategic initiatives, ongoing operations, and technology-driven transformation efforts across MT. You will partner with SOX, SOC, architecture, automation, and finance leaders to strengthen the control environment and ensure alignment with enterprise priorities. Reporting to the Senior Director of SOX Governance, you will play a key role in enabling compliance strategy, driving insights, and supporting a scalable and forward-looking control framework.

What You'll Do

  • Support ongoing SOX operations and key compliance initiatives across technology and business units

  • Partner with SOX, SOC, automation, architecture, and finance teams to support strategic planning and execution

  • Contribute to SOX-impacting projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise controls and governance frameworks

  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with cross-functional business and technology stakeholders

  • Develop high-quality deliverables, including strategies, plans, and executive-level presentations

  • Perform complex business analysis and build analytical frameworks to support decision-making

  • Evaluate industry trends, emerging risks, and opportunities (including automation and AI) impacting the control environment

  • Facilitate alignment, prioritization, and sequencing of compliance initiatives across teams

  • Communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership using structured storytelling and data-driven presentations

  • Work through ambiguity to structure problems, develop hypotheses, and present actionable solutions

  • Other duties may be assigned as needed to meet Company goals

Basic Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires5+ years of relevant experience

  • 5+ years of combined business and technology experience

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in SOX and/or SOC compliance environments

  • Experience supporting SOX programs, including testing, controls, or governance activities

  • Proven experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across business and technology teams

  • Experience developing reports, presentations, and strategic deliverables for leadership

  • Strong experience conducting business analysis and supporting decision-making frameworks

Preferred Skills

  • MBA or other relevant master's degree

  • Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries

  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to translate industry trends into actionable insights

  • Experience applying automation or AI concepts within compliance or risk environments

  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders and present complex concepts clearly

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $100,800 - $168,000
