Job description

Breezy Golf | Director of Operations & Systems
Remote (US) with regular travel to DC and 3PL sites โ€ข Full-time โ€ข Reports to GM
About Breezy Golf
Breezy Golf is one of the fastest-growing golf apparel brands in the country, built at the intersection of golf
culture, comedy, and commerce. As part of the Bob Does Sports media ecosystem, Breezy sells direct-to-
consumer through Shopify and through a growing wholesale/B2B channel. The brand moves fast, and it
needs an operational backbone that moves faster.
About the Role
We're looking for a Director of Operations & Systems to own two things completely. First, the systems that
run our operation - our ERP, EDI, and every integration that touches them. Second, the physical movement
of goods from the container to the customer, across inbound freight, our distribution center, our 3PL
network, and wholesale/B2B fulfillment.
Systems ownership is not a side responsibility in this role. It is the center of it. You will be the single
accountable owner of our operational stack, configuring it, fixing it, onboarding partners to it, and ensuring
every number it produces is one the rest of the business can trust.
This is a role for an organized, process-driven operator, someone who builds SOPs, catches errors before
they compound, and holds vendors, partners, and teammates to a standard. You'll lead an Operations Team
and warehouse staff while personally owning the systems architecture that keeps inventory, orders, and
data accurate across channels.
What You'll Own
Systems Ownership: ERP, EDI & the Ops Stack
  • Own the operational systems stack outright: the ERP as the source of truth, its integrations with Shopify and our EDI provider, plus 3PL connections, shipping, and returns tooling.
  • Own item setup, order flows, inventory sync, and operational reporting in the ERP.
  • Own systems onboarding: 3PLs and tools onto the stack such as mappings, testing, documentation, and go-live.
  • Lead the Breezy systems transition: configuration, migration, and process redesign without disrupting daily shipping. Automating manual processes and enforcing data accuracy as you go.
Distribution, Fulfillment & Wholesale Ops
  • Partner with our distribution centers through the Operations Manager and warehouse team: throughput, order accuracy, on-time ship rates, and returns processing.
  • Manage the 3PL network and outbound carrier mix: SLAs, rate negotiations, capacity planning, service levels, and shipping cost per order.
  • Own peak readiness: staffing, inventory positioning, and carrier capacity for BFCM and major drops.
  • Own EDI operations with retail partners: order acknowledgment, ASNs, routing-guide compliance, labeling, and chargeback prevention and disputes.
Inventory, Inbound Logistics & Receiving
  • Own inventory accuracy: cycle counts, receiving discipline, and reconciliation across the DC, 3PLs, and systems.
  • Manage inbound freight from manufacturers: international freight, customs, duties, and delivery windows into the DC and 3PLs.
  • Serve as the operational liaison to apparel production: translate production timelines into receiving and launch readiness plans, and flag downstream risk early.
People, Process & Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Develop the Operations Team: clear KPIs, training, safety, and accountability.
  • Build and maintain SOPs for every recurring process; run a weekly ops metrics cadence covering accuracy, speed, and cost.
  • Partner with merchandising on inventory positioning and receiving timelines, marketing and commerce on launch and peak readiness, finance on freight and fulfillment budgets, and apparel production on inbound schedules.
What We're Looking For
  • Non-negotiable: Deep, hands-on ownership of a mid-market cloud ERP and EDI (SPS Commerce or similar) - you configure, troubleshoot, and improve the system yourself.
  • Experience onboarding new partners onto an ERP/EDI stack - retailer mappings, 3PL integrations, testing, and go-live.
  • 7+ years in logistics, fulfillment, or distribution operations for apparel or consumer products, with at least 2 years managing people.
  • Experience managing inbound international freight, customs, and duties into a domestic DC.
  • Proven 3PL management: selection, SLA negotiation, scorecarding, and knowing when to switch.
  • Wholesale/B2B operations experience with major-retailer compliance: routing guides, ASNs, and chargeback management.
  • A true Type A operator: detail-obsessed, process-driven, and calm under pressure.
  • Strong people manager who sets standards, gives direct feedback, and builds teams that run without daily firefighting.
