- Greet guests, receive food orders, repeat food orders, charge the appropriate price for each menu item ordered by guests, receive the correct amount tendered by guests and provide the correct change for each transaction.
- Be able to enact gift cards requested by guests.
- Be very familiar with and up to date with California Fish Grill Restaurant's menu and prices.
- Interact with guests in a friendly/fast manner.
- Ability to make corrections to guest orders in a fast and efficient manner.
- Ability to determine counterfeit money and respond to situations involving counterfeit money.
- Assure age requirements are verified prior to serving alcoholic beverages.
- Treat all guests in a manner to ensure their complete satisfaction.
- Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.

- Safety, including precautions and safe work practices, established fire/safety/disaster plans, risk management, and security, report and/or correct unsafe working conditions, equipment repair and maintenance needs.
- Confidentiality of all data, including guest credit card information.
- Compliance with current law and policy to provide a work environment free from sexual harassment and all illegal and discriminatory behavior.
