Job Description
Summary
The Senior Analyst, Process Improvement - Finance is an important position that supports the delivery of organizational process excellence. This position reports directly to the BPD&I Senior Manager, Finance and serves as a partner by engaging with business stakeholders within the company to anticipate business needs and drive strong decision making through implementation of process improvements/best practices, continuous improvement, metrics, AI, and end-to-end process governance.
This position will be responsible for supporting aspects of the Finance process areas. The Finance scope includes supporting the strengthening of core financial analysis, improving the accuracy and clarity of financial storytelling for finance stakeholders and exhibiting strong project management skills.
This position will focus on planning, performance reporting, forecasting, variance analysis, while driving standardization and continuous improvement across data, reporting, and financial processes. This role will also support key strategic initiatives and build a culture of continuous improvement in the finance organization. In addition, the position will help meet strategic goals by developing analytical approaches, driving priorities, collaborating cross-functionally, and aligning resources to deliver high-quality, insight-driven finance support.
The ideal candidate will have continuous process improvement, change management, project management, M&A, governance, and communication experience.
Job Responsibilities
Process Excellence
  • Support day-to-day activities of the Enterprise Planning and Finance functions
  • Responsible for identifying best practices, efficiencies and strategic methods to optimize people, process, and technology solutions across the Enterprise Planning and Finance functions
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to drive governance and business partner relationships, including shared objectives for end-to-end process solutions
  • Analyze and support metrics and performance management strategy and culture, driving measurable business results
  • Help to embed an approach to ongoing continuous process improvement, including an end-to-end process assessment strategy, as well as tactical resource and implementation planning and delivery approach
  • Review and provide feedback for all process standards: data, reporting, systems security, compliance, financial controls, change management and process excellence
  • Identify, govern, prioritize, and adjudicate technology enhancements, partnering with Technology to build and support the deployment of ongoing roadmap of solutions
  • Help identify opportunities for AI and automation to enhance processes
  • Perform special projects as required

Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of accounting or finance experience required along with a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or similar OR Master's Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or 8 years of related work experience in lieu of a degree
  • Proven ability to influence and to collaborate at the highest levels of corporate management
  • Experience with continuous improvement and project management - Six Sigma Green Belt and/or PMP a plus
  • Experience supporting organizational change - including large scale transformation initiatives
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and functions and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver high levels of customer service
  • Demonstrated financial analysis strength
  • Experience within a Center of Excellence environment a plus
  • Excellent oral and written communication is mandatory

  • Advanced Degree and/or CPA a plus.
