Position
The National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) is the U.S. Government agency in charge of designing, building, launching, and maintaining America's intelligence satellites.
Develop. Acquire. Launch. Operate.
Apogee's ideal Enterprise Risk Manager and Systems Engineering Support will provide support for an Intelligence Community Space customer. The candidate will work across the Engineering and Requirements teams, in conjunction with Architecting and Digital Engineering teams to support Enterprise Risk management, end-to-end Enterprise Systems Engineering across GEOINT, SIGINT, Transport, Resiliency, Warfighter Support, and Enterprise Integration portfolios, and ground enterprise engineering.

What You'll Do
  • Assisting in capturing and categorizing technical risks, issues, and opportunities (RIOs) across system-of-systems architectures
  • Helping senior engineering teams develop, test, and document risk mitigation plans and remediation strategies
  • Maintaining Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts, risk registers, and system engineering plans (SEPs)
  • Facilitate meetings and provide technical presentations to outline risk impacts on enterprise, functional, and system-level design requirements, interfaces, architectures, and CONOPS
  • Assisting in executing engineering assessments, Courses of Action (CoA) evaluations, and formal trade studies
  • Demonstrating an understanding of the overall systems engineering process
  • Support the enterprise risks, issues, and opportunities process and facilitation of risks

Required
  • Bachelor's Degree (STEM preferred)
  • Enterprise Risk Manager
  • 10-15+ years' experience working in systems engineering in support of government systems acquisitions and enterprise services
  • Ability to collaborate across stakeholder organizations
  • Strong communication skills to interface with customers, directorate/office representatives, and across systems engineering groups

Desired Skills
  • Experience with National Reconnaissance Office RFC, CM, and R/I/O management
  • Strong foundation in systems lifecycles, configuration management, requirements tracking, and risk methodologies
