We're hiring a Director of Ecomm and CRO to lead strategy and execution for our purchase experience and overall Shopify storefront. This person has deep experience building and optimizing conversion funnels, leveraging best-in-class ecommerce tools, and working with acquisition and retention leaders to enable a high-efficiency DTC growth machine.
This role is for someone who:
  • Deep experience with CRO strategy for Meta-lead DTC growth
  • Expertise in best in class Shopify execution, including state of the art tools and plugins
  • Has a sharp conversion eye and a performance mindset
  • Obsesses over what makes a page convert once the click lands
  • Knows how to translate data into a landing page brief
  • Thrives in a fast-moving, test-and-learn environment

You'll own the conversion strategy layer across all landing pages, lifecycle and retention pages, site merchandising, and account management - working closely with leaders from Growth, Retention and Creative to build and scale what converts.
What You'll Do
Conversion Strategy & Testing
  • Sets testing strategy and agenda
  • Own the landing page development and execution roadmap for paid traffic and core website
  • Develop hypotheses and structure tests across headlines, hero, offer framing, social proof, and page structure
  • Translate performance data into actionable landing page briefs for design and dev
  • Identify winning patterns and build frameworks for scaling proven page concepts
  • Stay ahead of CRO trends, page formats, and conversion benchmarks
  • Maintain best-in-class tooling for conversion experiences and overall measurement
Cross-Functional Conversion Operations
  • Serve as the connective tissue between paid, lifecycle, and retention - extending winning page concepts to lifecycle and retention landing pages
  • Own banner and site merchandising for campaigns, promos, and launches so the storefront stays aligned with what's live
  • Manage page production timelines with dev and design so pages are ready to test on schedule
  • Maintain a living conversion learnings doc that informs future strategy
Analytics & Insights
  • Work with Data team leaders to optimise measurement framework and tools
  • Analyze page performance at the headline, module, and offer level
  • Pull and synthesize funnel data to surface where pages win and where they leak
  • Build and maintain a conversion scorecard to track performance across active tests
  • Present findings and recommendations in clear, actionable formats

Requirements
What You Bring
  • 6-10 years of experience in CRO, ecommerce, or landing page strategy - ideally at a DTC brand or agency
  • Deep experience with Shopify storefront management and best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to brief and optimize high-converting landing pages
  • Strong analytical instincts - you can read a funnel or an LP test report and know what to do next
  • Experience running structured A/B and multivariate tests
  • Deep familiarity with Meta as a traffic source and how ad-to-page message match drives conversion
  • Strong written communication - briefs, page copy, and internal decks that are clear and sharp
What We're Looking For
  • You think about the page as a performance lever, not just a layout
  • You can move from insight to brief to live page quickly
  • You're as comfortable in a spreadsheet as you are in a page builder
  • You have strong opinions about what makes a page convert - and you back them with data
  • You're a clear communicator and a strong cross-functional partner
  • You care about building systems, not just shipping one-off pages
Nice to Have
  • Experience at a health, wellness, or supplement brand
  • Comfort writing short-form landing page copy in addition to briefing it
  • Strong comfort using AI tools to accelerate page builds, testing, and research
  • Familiarity with subscription models and subscription retention

Benefits
  • Competitive compensation including salary and equity
  • Fully-paid health, dental, 401K, and vision insurance
  • Downtown Manhattan office (4 days in office), with flexible work setup and 15 days of PTO
