About The Role Peraton is currently seeking a Contract Administration Director with recent and direct DoD/DoW customer experience to join our contracts team. This position will require an experienced contracts management professional with responsibility for the following: * Oversee a portfolio of complex DoD/DoW contracts matters as a member of a business unit leadership team to provide strategic advice and counsel on all capture, growth, contractual, and procurement-related items
* Lead a team of contracts professionals while achieving Sector performance goals
* Interface with Executive Leadership on solutions to contractual issues
* Develop and lead implementation of customer engagement strategies in support of developing on contract growth opportunities
* Manage and provide leadership for contracts function responsibilities including but not limited to: proposal preparation (opportunity shaping, RFP reviews, advising on technical risk mitigations, developing OCI mitigation plans, reviewing costs volumes, providing oversight of model contract and intellectual property considerations), assessment of terms and conditions to ensure the corporation is protected from unusual risk and sustains or improves Peraton's long range plans
* Develop and maintain customer relationships to ensure positive and constructive interactions
* Leads staff development, including mentoring and training junior staff
* Provides guidance to management on contractual and business issues, including risk/benefit analysis
* Supporting or leading strategic and business optimization initiatives
* Negotiates federal government contracts, including teaming and non-disclosure agreements
* Ensures team achievement of optimal operational performance by adhering to contract policies, procedures, methods, operating practices
* Work in partnership with the business leaders to drive performance standards for programs to culminate in excellent CPARs and achievement of company annual operating plan * Reviews and resolves issues affecting company compliance and ensures the satisfaction of legal requirements, company, and customer objectives by working closely with the Sector President, Sector VP of Contracts, Chief Contracts Officer, Chief Legal Officer, and other senior executives
* Advises management of contractual rights and obligations, identifying risk areas and mitigation strategies, and provides interpretation of terms and conditions
* Provides strategic guidance to capture teams on highly complex bids
Qualifications * 16 years of relevant experience.
* Demonstrated experience leading contracts teams supporting a wide range of DoD/DoW contract types and customers.
* Experience with the development and negotiation of large, highly complex bids.
* An in-depth knowledge of federal government contracting, to include applicable acquisition regulations.
* Business acumen with ability to think critically and develop creative and practical solutions.
* Ability to support growth strategies in both competitive and sole source environments.
* Detailed knowledge of organizational conflict of interest mitigation plans, teaming agreements, and other contract artifacts.
* Strong writing and time management skills.
* Unqualified commitment to integrity and professionalism.
* Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to employees and management at all levels.
* Attention to detail and organization.
* Highly adaptable to change; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-moving environment.
* Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance. Details Target Salary Range: $176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
