The impact you will have in this role:
Being a member of the Technology Research & Innovation team, the Associate Director DevOps Engineer will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing the Web3 Platform that underpins key business functions across DTCC. The Associate Director will serve as a technical leader, driving engineering excellence by defining and promoting best practices in DevOps, platform reliability, automation, infrastructure architecture, and security engineering. This individual will work closely with engineering, architecture, and product teams to influence strategic decision-making around how the platform evolves to meet increasing scalability, resiliency, and operational demands. In this role, you will leverage deep expertise in building and integrating both internally developed platform components and enterprise-grade vendor solutions. You will collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams, providing guidance on platform design, architectural patterns, deployment automation, observability, and continuous delivery pipelines. You will play a key role in enabling teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions efficiently and securely. In addition, you will partner with business leaders, enterprise architects, and DTCC's risk and security assessment teams to ensure that platform solutions meet the highest standards of security, compliance, and operational readiness. Your contributions will be central to delivering a resilient, scalable, and production-ready Web3 platform that supports mission-critical workloads across DTCC.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support the development and deployment of our applications
  • Collaborate with software engineers, system administrators, and other team members to identify and implement efficient and reliable solutions
  • Automate processes and tasks to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
  • Provide technical support and assistance to the development team
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security
  • Define and implement appropriate monitoring and alerting systems for timely identification and resolution of incidents
  • Maintain and enhance the security of our infrastructure, applications, and systems, ensuring compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain system documentation
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in DevSecOps and cybersecurity
  • Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in Infrastructure as a Code Development (IAC) skills using DevSecops pipeline
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Strong Knowledge on provisioning tools like IAC development (Ansible, Python, Terraform)
  • Strong Knowledge on (Java, Angular Development Skills)

Talents Needed for Success:
  • Strong Experience in using Restful webservices (Integration and Development)
  • Hands on Experience in product life cycle management & agile based delivery
  • SCM / DevOps / CI/CD tools & process (GIT/Bitbucket, Maven, Ant, Jenkins, Sonar)
  • Agile Methodology and Tools (JIRA)
  • Strong Knowledge on CI/CD development which is like enhancements/customizations on Jenkin pipeline using groovy/python
  • Proven Understanding with Cloud deployments (Private Cloud / AWS / Azure)
  • Experience with Cloud Platforms, Container/Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry)
  • Experience with Database Skillsets (PostgreSQL, Snowflake)
