Job description

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our Home Health and Hospice clinical teams. The DON is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting quality patient care, developing staff, and driving agency growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee clinical operations for Home Health and Hospice services.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, state regulations, and agency policies.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop clinical staff.
  • Monitor quality outcomes, documentation, and patient satisfaction.
  • Oversee admissions, referrals, care coordination, and physician order compliance.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and regulatory survey readiness.
  • Build relationships with physicians, hospitals, facilities, and community partners.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support census growth and operational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license in good standing.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in Home Health, Hospice, or related healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with EMR systems and clinical operations.
