Job Title: Audience Data & Operations Coordinator

Pay Transparency: 

The anticipated starting salary range is $70,000-80,000/yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Overview:

Audacy is seeking an Audience Data & Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day execution of our audience data and identity products. This role sits at the center of Sales, Product, and our vendor ecosystem, acting as a key operational resource to ensure our audience capabilities are properly built, maintained, and clearly communicated to internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Audience & DMP Operations: Build and configure audience segments in our DMP and ad servers based on requests from Sales, Planning, and Account Management. QA and maintain existing segments, ensuring accuracy and proper taxonomy; work with third-party data vendors to ensure segments are current, correctly mapped, and performing to expectations. Troubleshoot audience delivery issues, partnering with Ad Ops and Engineering to diagnose and resolve problems quickly.
  • Liaison: Sales, Product & Vendors: Support day-to-day requests across Sales, Planning, Account Management, and the Audience Product team for all audience and data related needs. Coordinate client audience onboarding requests, provide clear instructions, answer questions, and keep Sales updated when segments are live. Track and escalate audience related support tickets to the appropriate teams, ensuring timely resolution and keeping stakeholders informed throughout.
  • Reporting & Cost Savings: Help produce monthly reports on audience data usage, segment performance, data cost, and margin; distribute month-end data usage reporting to vendors. Support monitoring of Audacy's first-party data performance and assist in reporting on cost savings achieved by reducing reliance on third-party alternatives. Assist with outstanding invoicing questions from vendors and help reconcile data costs against usage.
  • GTM & Sales Enablement: Handle incoming RFP and data questionnaire requests from Sales, helping ensure questions related to privacy, data practices, and audience methodology are accurately completed and returned promptly. Help maintain Audacy's Audience Playbook, keeping data capabilities, products, and workflows current so Sales and Operations always have a clear reference. Assist with testing and QA of new audience and data products, documenting results and flagging issues to ensure a successful launch before going live with clients.
Qualifications

Required:

  • 1-3 years of experience in digital advertising, ad tech, media, or data operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, Communications, or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across teams without dropping the ball.
  • Appreciation for data privacy and the importance of protecting listener data integrity is a must.
  • Exposure to programmatic advertising and DSP platforms (e.g., The Trade Desk, DV360) a plus.
