Job description

Description:

Help build the future of data center infrastructure with ARG Industrial. We’re looking for a high-impact sales leader who wants to do more than manage an established book of business—we want someone who is energized by creating new markets, winning strategic accounts, and helping define what comes next. As our National Accounts & Data Center Solutions Manager, you will lead ARG Industrial’s expansion into the fast-growing world of liquid cooling for hyperscale and enterprise data centers while building a national account program with significant long-term growth potential. You’ll work directly with executive decision-makers, engineers, OEMs, contractors, and industry partners to solve complex cooling challenges, open new doors, and turn emerging opportunities into lasting customer relationships and revenue. This is a builder’s role for someone who wants visibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a measurable impact on one of ARG Industrial’s most important growth initiatives.

Compensation

Base Salary: $100,000 – $115,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications

We are a hands-on customer service company that believes our employees are our greatest asset.

Essential Duties:

Job Summary

The National Accounts & Data Center Solutions Manager is a critical dual-role position within the company, responsible for building and managing ARG Industrial’s national account program while leading our expansion into the rapidly growing liquid cooling market for hyperscale and enterprise data centers. This individual serves as a strategic and technical sales leader, offering executive-level customer engagement, engineering support, and national market development. This is a growth-driven position, not a maintenance role.

The role involves hands-on collaboration with internal teams and external customers, vendors, and OEMs to ensure optimal fluid conveyance solutions and hose assemblies tailored to the evolving needs of the data center industry. The role requires executive presence and the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders, up to and including the C-suite, while delivering high-level presentations and business reviews.

Essential Functions

Core Values

  • Embody the ARG Industrial Core Values of authenticity, taking ownership, being helpful and collaborative, having a desire to elevate and evolve, and exhibiting grit.

Sales & Market Development

  • Drive strategic sales growth by identifying and securing liquid cooling projects with hyperscale data centers, OEMs, and contractors.
  • Develop and execute a market-specific sales strategy focused on direct-to-chip, RDHx, and immersion cooling applications.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and needs assessment through to closing and account management.
  • Represent ARG Industrial at conferences, events, and vendor meetings.

National Account Management

  • Establish, negotiate, and manage national account agreements, including multi-site pricing, service standards, and contract terms.
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for national accounts, engaging confidently with senior decision-makers up to and including the C-suite.
  • Deliver polished, high-level presentations and executive business reviews to customer leadership teams.
  • Coordinate across ARG Industrial branches and regions to ensure consistent service, pricing, and execution for national customers.

Technical Expertise & Support

  • Specify and support custom hose assemblies and fittings suited for data center cooling systems.
  • Advise engineering teams (internal and external) on system layout, hose routing, compatibility, and performance.
  • Maintain expertise in liquid cooling technology trends and industry shifts.

Internal Collaboration & Execution

  • Partner with inside sales, assembly, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

  • Primarily remote or field-based, with a minimum of one week of travel per month to customer sites, conferences, and internal facilities.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work.
  • Periodic exposure to warehouse or industrial environments with moderate noise levels.
  • Use of standard office technology (computer, phone, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Successfully pass drug test screenings throughout employment.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales, national account management, or application engineering, preferably in HVAC, fluid conveyance, or data center infrastructure.
  • Ability and willingness to travel a minimum of one week per month, including regional and national travel.
  • Proven success in selling to hyperscale data center operators and related markets.
  • Demonstrated executive presence, with the ability to engage C-suite stakeholders and deliver high-level presentations to executive audiences.
  • Technical proficiency in liquid cooling technologies and system design.
  • Strong understanding of hose construction, routing, and installation best practices.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, P&IDs, and specs.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or Business with a technical emphasis, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience

  • Demonstrated experience growing revenue through consultative technical sales.
  • Familiarity with data center OEMs, project stakeholders, and market influencers.
