Starting salary is based on experience and qualifications and will likely not exceed mid-point of range to allow for development and future increases.

About the Role:

This position will oversee two branches: Concrete & Sedro-Woolley in Northwest Washington

FLSA: Exempt

The Satellite Branch Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the success of multiple assigned branch locations. This position ensures consistent delivery of exceptional member service, team development, operational efficiency, and community engagement. The Satellite Branch Manager upholds regulatory, compliance, and security requirements while advocating for members and advancing Harborstone Credit Union’s mission and values. This role provides direct leadership to branch teams and does not have direct management responsibility for Branch Managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Multi-Branch Operations: Provide leadership and operational oversight across all assigned branch locations to ensure consistency, service quality, and compliance.
  • Develop Teams: Coach, mentor, and develop Assistant Branch Managers and staff, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Member Experience Leadership: Drive exceptional and consistent member experiences through coaching, feedback, and service expectations.
  • Sales and Growth: Support achievement of sales and service goals while guiding teams in conducting financial needs assessments and cross-serving.
  • Community Engagement: Represent Harborstone within assigned communities, building partnerships and expanding visibility.
  • Risk and Compliance: Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements including BSA, AML, OFAC, and information security policies.
  • Problem Resolution: Serve as escalation point for complex member concerns, ensuring timely and empathetic resolution.
  • Training and Development: Identify and address training needs related to products, systems, service, and procedures.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with regulations and internal policies.

Other Responsibilities

  • Complete all required annual compliance and security training.
  • Travel regularly between assigned branch locations.
  • Safeguard member confidentiality and sensitive data.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma required: Essential

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience within financial services required, including 2+ years in a branch management or people leadership role.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in core banking systems, Microsoft Office, and financial service tools.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

Physical Considerations

  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal, written, and electronic formats with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and respond to written and verbal instructions and information.
  • May be required to sit or stand for extended periods, depending on job duties.
  • May involve repetitive motions, including keyboarding and handling office equipment.
