Job description

As Project Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of supporting the Project  with the implementation of FreeBalance Government Resource Planning (GRP) solutions using solid project management principles and applying technology to government business operations. Key to this position is the ability to demonstrate previous experience with in supporting, coordinating an ERP Implementation for an HRM/Payroll.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the Project with all aspects of the implementation.
  • Maintain strong and positive relationship with government representatives and government officials
  • Use effective leadership skills to direct all phases of programs from inception through completion to include planning, evaluating whether working as a team or independently
  • Support in planning and executing the programs/projects to meet the contractual obligations of the contract supporting the Project Manager with project scope, schedule and budget
  • Support in managing day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope, including meeting the project schedules and WBS tasks, submitting quality deliverables and maintaining the projects responsibility matrix
  • Support with updating project work plans, task and assignments changes as required.
  • Support Project Manager with assess and minimize our exposure and risk on project
  • Effectively apply our methodology and enforce project standards
  • Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities
  • Ensure project documents are complete prior to submission to the customer and stored appropriately
  • Manage program execution to include internal/external process improvement
  • English and Spanish language fluency mandatory
 
Qualifications:
  • Degree in University Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Computer Science, or or equivalent
  • Ideal candidate will have experience in managing large scale ICT projects with HRM and/or Payroll in last five (5) years
  • Must have more than fifteen (15) years of experience in end-to-end projects involving the implementation of core business systems
  • Must have at least five (5) years as a Project Director in similar projects at energy customers in regulated markets and transformation projects,
  • Must have worked in at least four (4) projects in Latin America of similar nature and complexity
  • Experience in implementing of software solutions in the public sector, at least 2 projects in last 10 years
  • Knowledge of HRM/Payroll System in the public sector, particularly in Costa Rica, is an asset.
  • Professional designation in Project Management, Public Management, or Financial Management considered an asset
  • Strong presentation skills and experience with executive-level communications
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills in Spanish and English. Other languages considered an asset.
  • A Canadian or USA Passport is a must
