Job description

This position is responsible for fulfilling the graphic needs of various departments through the daily use of an assortment of large and small format materials and computer graphics programs. All duties performed are expected to be within the objectives, standards, mission, and policies of Doll Distributing LLC, State of Iowa laws and regulations governing the beer industry, and brewery/supplier requirements.

Essential Functions

  • Will be assigned or assign themselves a daily block of Mobility orders
  • Fill orders using Corel Draw, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Design signs according to order requests
  • Download templates from AB Marketing
  • Fill out daily report of orders completed
  • Cut out stratacore and plastic to sign sizes, when necessary
  • Grommet fabric banners and stratacore posters, when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Non Essential Functions

  • Replace inks, toner cartridges, belts, fusers, print heads, and maintenance cartridges when printers run out
  • Reload large format printers, small format printers, and vinyl cutter when empty
  • Put away material orders that come in from material suppliers

Essential Skills and Knowledge

  • Communicate effectively with Account Representatives and team leads
  • Meet or exceed minimum productivity standards established by Doll Distributing LLC
  • Demonstrate effective time management skills
  • Above average working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Corel Draw, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Mobility applications
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal mediums with employees and customers within all levels of the organization
  • Able to work with a diverse group of people and customers

Physical Demands

  • Temperature/Climate: This position may spend 100% of the shift in a climate-controlled environment
  • Safety Considerations: This position will ensure that staff is properly trained on use of equipment and supplies
  • Physical/Mental Organizational Capabilities: The individual in this role must possess the ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, climb stairs, and lift a minimum of 30 pounds. The ability to pay attention to detail, problem solve, troubleshoot, and make decisions as required.
  • Visual/Hearing Capabilities: The visual ability necessary to read and interpret a computer screen and differentiate product types is required. The hearing ability necessary to communicate with others is required.

  • Pursing degree in Graphic Design or related field
  • Experience with Electronic Publishing or Printing a plus

  • Flexible hours between 7am and 4pm
