Senior Manager, Competitive Intelligence (6-Month Contract) 

Sonova is seeking a Senior Manager, Competitive Intelligence for a 6-month contract opportunity, with the possibility of extension based on business needs. This role offers a flexible hybrid schedule and will lead competitive intelligence activities that inform business, brand, portfolio, channel, and go-to-market decisions. The Senior Manager will translate market, consumer, retail, channel, and competitor dynamics into clear insights and recommendations for global and regional stakeholders, helping strengthen Sonova's category leadership and commercial effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

Serve as a strategic partner to global and regional Marketing, Sales, Retail, Channel, and Commercial teams
Identify and translate key developments across hearing care channels, retail networks, wholesale partners, digital touchpoints, and consumer access models into actionable insights
Lead complex competitive intelligence projects from scoping through executive-ready recommendations
Partner with regions, group companies, and commercial teams to connect global insights with local market realities
Monitor competitor, channel, retail, consumer access, and market disruption trends to support strategic decision-making
Create concise narratives and recommendations for senior leadership forums
Leverage AI and digital tools to improve competitive intelligence processes, knowledge sharing, and speed-to-insight

More about you:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Psychology, or a related field
12+ years of experience in similar business-facing roles, ideally within healthcare, medical device, or a global matrixed organization
Strong experience generating meaningful insights from primary and secondary data sources
Ability to translate complex market and competitive intelligence into clear, actionable recommendations
Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, project leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and internationally matrixed environment
Proficient with MS Office, Power BI, AI tools, and digital technologies with a strong business mindset

Travel:

5 - 10% travel may be required.

This role's pay range is between: $112,000 - $140,000 annually
