JOB SUMMARY

The Spa & Wellness Manager supports the strategic and daily operations of our luxury spa, working in close collaboration with the Spa Director to deliver exceptional guest experience. This role plays a key part in managing the spa team, coordinating services, upholding operational standards, and ensuring excellence in service delivery, cleanliness, and safety. The Spa Manager serves as a hands-on leader and key point of contact for both guests and team members, actively contributing to a serene, welcoming, and elevated spa atmosphere.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in spa or wellness management, preferably in a resort or luxury hospitality setting.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred.

• Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is mandatory.

• Working knowledge of spa treatments, services, products, and trends.

• Experience in team leadership, scheduling, and inventory management.

• Familiarity with spa software systems and guest service standards.


FUNDAMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

• Assist the Spa Director in the daily supervision of spa operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow across all service areas.

• Provide direct leadership to the spa team, including front desk, therapists, aestheticians, attendants, and support staff.

• Serve as a key contact for guest feedback and service recovery; handle guest concerns with poise and urgency.

• Maintain high service and cleanliness standards throughout the facility, inspecting areas regularly and addressing any deficiencies.

• Oversee the scheduling of team members to ensure proper coverage and efficiency in service delivery.

• Support in onboarding, coaching, and training team members in alignment with Wyndham service standards and spa protocols.

• Assist with product and inventory management, including ordering, stock rotation, and control of expenses.

• Collaborate with the Spa Director on marketing efforts, promotions, and events to increase revenue and guest engagement.

• Monitor retail sales performance and encourage staff to promote appropriate wellness and beauty products.

• Support the execution of group bookings and special events, ensuring every detail is coordinated and guest expectations are exceeded.

• Prepare and review reports related to guest feedback, revenue performance, and staffing to support strategic decisions.

• Act as the Manager on Duty (M.O.D.) in the absence of the Spa Director.

• Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture.

• Ensure all licenses, certifications, and compliance requirements are met by the team and maintained consistently.

• Perform any other duties as requested by management to ensure operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and be on-site to oversee daily operations.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds, and assist with light physical tasks when needed (e.g., setting up for special events or promotional displays).
