What is a director of channel operations?

A Director of Channel Operations is a senior management professional responsible for overseeing and optimizing a company's indirect sales channels, such as distributors, resellers, and partners. They develop and implement channel strategies, manage relationships with channel partners, and ensure that sales targets are met through these channels.
