About the role...
Duolingo's brand is one of the most beloved and talked-about in consumer tech - and we're looking for a senior leader to turn that cultural relevance into a measurable growth engine. As Head of Community & Influencers, you'll build and own the function responsible for UGC reach, word-of-mouth acquisition, and creator-driven growth across all Duolingo verticals.
This is a leadership role with broad strategic scope. You'll define the vision for how Duolingo engages influencers, creator partners, and our global learner community - from celebrity partnerships to superfan advocacy programs to community experiences in and out of app. You'll work at the intersection of brand, product, and growth, partnering directly with senior leaders across marketing, product, and data science to architect systems that compound organic distribution over time.
You'll report to the Head of Brand Marketing and will build, lead, and develop a high-performing team across influencer, creator, and community functions.
You will...
  • Own the full influencer, creator, and community flywheel from strategy to execution and scale it into a measurable, top-of-funnel growth engine
  • Build and operate our partnerships across celebrities, influencers, and creators from deal flow and negotiation to creative and results, optimizing for CPM and cost-per-new-user
  • Architect a world-class advocate network that converts brand love into measurable word-of-mouth growth, and keeps Duolingo culturally relevant at scale
  • Design and launch a tiered loyalty and rewards program that turns our most engaged learners into an owned growth channel
  • Collaborate deeply with product teams to increase in-app shareability, surface community-driven content, and create in-app features that reward and incentivize organic advocacy.
  • Build the attribution and measurement infrastructure that connects community and creator activity to business outcomes
  • Ensure new feature launches, vertical expansions, and cultural moments are systematically amplified through creator and community channels
  • Lead, develop, and build a high-performing team that executes at startup speed across the org

  • Experience driving measurable business outcomes across the creator & community industry
  • Built or led a product at scale in the creator economy
  • Proven success building multi-platform advocacy programs with measurable ROI and business growth
  • Experience owning a product roadmap
  • Experience in managing a scaled influencer program that contributed significantly to top of funnel growth
  • Deep understanding of attribution, social, and product analytics with a proven track record of building scalable success frameworks

The offered salary is dependent upon several factors, including work experience, skills, and internal peer comparisons. The posted range is subject to change in the future.
