The Royal Caribbean Group has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Lead, Treasury Operations reporting to the Director, Financial Risk Management.
This position works on-site in Miami, Florida.
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for daily Treasury Operations activities which include but are not limited to the management of liquidity, short-term investments, approval of Treasury payments, Spot trading of foreign currencies, and short-term liquidity forecasting. Other responsibilities include coordinating with Corporate Accounting to ensure Treasury initiated transactions are accurately accounted for in the general ledger, management banking systems, maintenance of bank accounts, and management of the Treasury Management System (FIS Integrity).
This position interacts extensively with our external banking partners and internally with various departments across the company. Internal departments look to Treasury as the subject matter expert for all matters banking related. The Lead, Treasury Operations will also be required to cross train with the other areas in Treasury to be able to provide backup and support in all Treasury competencies and will manage one direct report (Senior Treasury Analyst).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Bank account lifecycle management (open/close/modify/user access)
  • KYC Maintenance Across all Banks
  • Payment Execution Support (Oracle, FIS, direct, debits)
  • Treasury Systems Support & Integrations (Oracle, FIS, BAI2, FXALL, User Admin)
  • Maintain Master Bank Account List, Onboarding of new accounts and Audit Evidence
  • Liquidity Management & Forecasting
  • Project Management for New System Implementation and Treasury Dashboards
  • Support of Treasury initiatives to minimize bank charges within the constraints of our structure
  • Implementing cost savings initiatives
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
  • BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field
  • 3-5 years of work experience required
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, SQL/Python
  • Databricks highly desired, fluent in Power BI
  • Ability to efficiently interact with AI Tools
  • Working knowledge of Treasury Management Systems: FIS Integrity, Oracle Treasury Workflow
  • Produces high quality, error free work under tight deadlines
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Good written and oral communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with internal and external constituents
  • A good understanding of accounting will be beneficial
  • Interest in, and understanding of, financial and credit markets
  • Proactively anticipates issues
  • Proactively supports Treasury projects to drive them to closure
  • Ability to review thoroughly contracts and other legal documents and work closely with Legal department to negotiate acceptable terms
