Job description

Delray Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join an established and expanding team within a highly respected cardiovascular program. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to provide comprehensive electrophysiology care, supported by advanced cardiac services, a dedicated electrophysiology laboratory, and a physician-friendly ambulatory surgery center. The successful candidate will contribute to a collaborative physician group and benefit from state-of-the-art technology and a robust referral network.

Practice Info

  • Join an established group of experienced electrophysiologists in a collegial, team-oriented environment.
  • Dedicated, fully equipped Electrophysiology Laboratory with advanced mapping and ablation technologies.
  • Access to a physician-aligned Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) supporting select EP and device procedures.
  • Strong referral base from a large network of primary care physicians and cardiologists.
  • Comprehensive cardiovascular program with integrated imaging, heart failure, structural heart, and cardiovascular surgery services.
  • Experienced EP nursing and technical support staff.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage patients with cardiac arrhythmias and electrophysiologic disorders.
  • Perform a full range of electrophysiology procedures including complex and routine catheter ablations, atrial fibrillation ablations, SVT ablations, VT ablations.
  • Perform pacemaker implantation, ICD implantation, CRT device implantation, and implantable loop recorder placement and management.
  • Interpret ambulatory rhythm monitoring studies and device interrogations.
  • Collaborate closely with interventional cardiologists, non-invasive cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, advanced practice providers, and other specialists.
  • Participate in inpatient consultations and outpatient clinic services.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical program development, and cardiovascular service line growth.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Required: MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Required: Completion of Internal Medicine Residency.
  • Required: Completion of Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship.
  • Required: Completion of Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship.
  • Required: Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease.
  • Required: Board Certified in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
  • Required: Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure.
  • Required: DEA certification and applicable state controlled substance registration.
  • Preferred: Demonstrated expertise in complex ablation procedures.
  • Preferred: Experience with advanced mapping technologies and lead extraction procedures.
