Job description

?? Now Hiring | Clinical Information Manager (RN / Clinical Informatics)

The Talent Source is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Clinical Information Manager to join a progressive healthcare organization in South Florida.

This is not a traditional IT management role.

We're seeking a clinical leader—ideally a Registered Nurse or healthcare professional with a passion for improving patient care through technology. Someone who understands what happens on the nursing floor, in the clinic, and at the bedside, and can translate those real-world experiences into smarter clinical workflows and more effective healthcare technology solutions.

If you've ever thought...

"There has to be a better way to do this..."

...this could be the opportunity you've been looking for.

Your Mission

You'll serve as the critical bridge between clinicians and technology, partnering with physicians, nurses, and operational leaders to ensure clinical systems truly support the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Rather than asking clinicians to adapt to technology, you'll help technology better support clinicians.

This highly visible leadership role reports directly to the CIO and plays a key part in shaping the future of clinical informatics and digital health across the organization.

What You'll Do

? Partner with nursing and clinical leadership to understand workflow challenges and identify opportunities for improvement

? Lead optimization of Electronic Health Records (EHR) and other clinical applications

? Improve clinical documentation, patient safety, efficiency, and user experience

? Champion workflow redesign that reduces administrative burden and supports better patient outcomes

? Serve as the trusted liaison between caregivers, operational leaders, and technical teams

? Guide application enhancements, implementations, upgrades, testing, and user adoption

? Lead and mentor a team supporting clinical applications and informatics initiatives

? Drive training, change management, and clinician engagement across the organization

? Help shape the organization's long-term clinical technology strategy

We're Looking For

We'd love to speak with you if you have:

• Registered Nurse (RN) or other clinical background strongly preferred

• Experience in Clinical Informatics, Nursing Informatics, Clinical Applications, or Healthcare Technology

• Hands-on experience with Electronic Health Records (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, NextGen, eClinicalWorks, Athena, or similar)

• Strong understanding of clinical workflows, patient documentation, and interdisciplinary care

• Experience leading clinical system implementations, optimization projects, or workflow improvement initiatives

• The ability to communicate effectively with both clinicians and technical teams

What Makes Someone Successful?

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable speaking with bedside nurses, physicians, department leaders, and application analysts. You're known for listening first, understanding clinical challenges, and helping teams leverage technology to improve care—not complicate it.

You don't need to come from a traditional IT background.

You do need to understand healthcare, appreciate the realities of patient care, and enjoy helping clinicians deliver the best possible outcomes through thoughtfully designed technology.

If you're passionate about improving healthcare through collaboration, innovation, and clinical excellence, we'd love to hear from you.
