Capstone Physical Therapy is a local therapist-owned outpatient private practice in Whatcom, Snohomish, and now Skagit counties. We offer Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. Capstone is a leader in patient care and in 2015 received the Whatcom Business Alliance "Business of the Year" Award and has won "Best of the Northwest" since 2017.

Our clinics offer specialty areas of practice including orthopedics, sports rehab, geriatric rehab, pelvic health, balance and vertigo, and work rehabilitation. Our clinicians are experts in therapy and many hold specialist certifications including OCS, GCS and CHT. We are an evidence-based practice that emphasizes manual therapy and an exercise-based approach to treatment.
Job Description
Capstone Physical Therapy is seeking a full time Clinic Director/Physical Therapist for our brand new Mount Vernon clinic opening soon. The Clinic Director will lead the launch and daily operations of a brand-new outpatient physical therapy clinic, ensuring efficient workflows, exceptional patient care, and strong clinical outcomes. This role includes mentoring and supporting the clinical team while driving clinic growth through community engagement, referral development, and patient-centered service.
  • Maintain a patient-focused environment that prioritizes high-quality care, communication, and overall experience.
  • Manage clinic performance, including scheduling, productivity, and workflow optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, documentation standards, and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with leadership to achieve strategic, financial, and operational goals.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative clinic culture that supports teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) program.
  • Current or eligible for Physical Therapist licensure in the State of Washington.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development, clinical excellence, and leadership growth.
  • Proven ability to mentor clinicians, support staff development, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills appropriate for leading clinic operations and supporting strategic goals.
