Job description

Job Description:

Under general supervision this position installs and configures low voltage cables and equipment. Position also includes support and adjustments for related equipment including home audio, video, computer networking and security equipment. Working with residential and light commercial properties both new construction and retro fit applications.

Qualifications:

At least two years of experience in related field. Poses self-initiative and discipline while maintaining a positive attitude. Ability to work effectively and responsibly while unsupervised. Provide excellent customer service. Must have clean criminal background and driving record along with transportation to and from work each day.

Knowledge, Ability & Skill:

Knowledge of structure wiring,ย security systems, camera systems, networking components, audio video equipment and a good foundation with general computer skills. Read and interpret floor plans and safely use tools and equipment. Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch for periods of time. Work in confined spaces such as crawl spaces and attics. Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy items. Have the skills necessary to install, terminate and troubleshoot cat5e, cat6, RG6, and RG59 cables.

Hours & Compensation:

10-hour work days, Monday through Thursday 7am - 6pm which includes one hour for lunch. 401k available, paid holidays after 90 days, paid vacation after 6 months. Lead tech positions to include transportation and/or gas card. Hourly compensation based on experience and paid via bi-weekly payroll with direct deposit
