Title: Regional Director Business Operations- Hospice
Territory: Central- CO, IL, IN, TN, MI, MN, MO & WI
Position: Regional Director Business Operations- Hospice
Position Type: Full Time
Remote/Virtual Position: Remote
Travel: 25% - 50%
Must live within this territory for consideration
Previous Hospice Operations experience strongly preferred
Salary: $99,000 to $128,000 DOE + Bonus

Be the Best Regional Director Business Operations - Hospice You Can Be
The Regional Director of Business Operations (RDBO) serves as a resource to the program Regional Vice President of Operations and as a dotted-line supervisor to DBOs/MBOs. In addition to overseeing initial site-leader training, RDBOs maintain insight into the program in order to assist with process needs, as well as other business concerns that may arise. RDBOs work with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of each site and to revise processes as the need arises.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Previous leadership experience and demonstrated achievements
  • Previous administrative experience dealing with business-office issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to motivate a diverse workforce
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of hospice program requirements preferred

Responsibilities:
As a Regional Director Business Operations - Hospiceyou will:
  • Oversee training of new Directors/Managers of Business Operations
  • Conduct regular evaluations of DBOs/MBOs to determine further training needs
  • Monitor KPIs to identify and address gaps in processes/visibility
  • Meet with program ED and/or RVPO to discuss program operational outcomes on a regular basis
  • Assist with optimization and standardization of program sites
  • Advocate for the needs of site-level leadership
  • Ensure programs follow all AccentCare policies, protocols, and SOPs
  • Travel to assigned sites as determined by collaboration with RVPO
  • Lead projects as assigned by the Chief of Staff of Hospice & Palliative Care, the Senior Regional Director of Business Operations, and/or RVPO
  • Identify gaps in Business Operations protocols and processes that introduce risk to the organization and, in partnership with program ED, mitigate that risk through process revision
  • Arrange and ensure support during extended DBO/MBO vacancies
  • Assist with documentation and implementation of new or revised processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned
